How Do I Start?

If you have decided that you want to try Quantum Method Meditation and are wondering how to start, here’s what you can do.

Start with practising Easy Relaxation. We say relaxation is like the 1 on the left of many 0s: unless you are relaxed the meditation techniques are valueless.

​

After you have practised relaxation for a while, ideally twice every day for 40 days, you can choose any meditation you want from the selected meditations section.

​

Please remember that learning meditation without a guide or accessories requires some patience. You will progress much more quickly and benefit much more if you attend Quantum Meditation programmes.

Relaxation Preparation

Select a quiet place for meditating. Make sure there will be no distractions for some time. Choose a place that is well ventilated and is not completely dark. Soft light is best. Wear loose, comfortable clothes during the practice.

Before you start relaxation, think of a recent incident that has brought you happiness. It doesn’t matter how trivial the incident was, what matters is the feeling it brought you.

​

You can meditate lying down, sitting on a chair, or sitting on the floor in any comfortable yoga posture. If you sit on a chair, be easy and erect. Make sure your feet touch the floor. Rest your hands on your knees.

​

If you want to lie down, lie on your back on a thin mat on the floor or a hard bed. The harder the better. If necessary, place a thin pillow under your head. Place your hands on either side of your body, palms facing up. There should be some space between your feet.

Note
In Quantum Meditation, you will first do breathing exercises to reach the Alpha Station of your mind. Then you will count from 19 to 0 to reach your Quantum Home. Quantum Home is your mind's meditation zone. You will return from Quantum Home to normal conscious state by counting 0 to 7.


Alpha Station: Just as we start a journey by train from a train station, the Alpha Station is the station in your mind where you start from. It is in a beautiful arena with dense trees, fountains, lakes, gardens, and a waiting room. From the Alpha Station, you will count from 19 to 0 to reach your Quantum Home.


Quantum Home: Your Quantum Home is like your mind's home. It could be located at any place, in a peaceful, natural setting in your imagination. Any house that you would fancy living in could be your Quantum Home, but make sure that you remember it well because you will be returning to the same home every time you meditate. You will be practising affirmation/autosuggestion, visualization, and other self-help methods in this Quantum Home.
